Friends of the San Pedro River: San Pedro House Nature Walk

Step away from the noise and into a world where the air is fresher, the colors richer, and every sound tells a story.

On this guided nature walk, you’ll wander along paths shaded by the cottonwood-willow gallery, pause beside the San Pedro River and Green Kingfisher Pond, catch glimpses of butterflies, and listen to the chorus of birdsong overhead. Join us on this walk where every step reveals a new story, from the whisper of wildflowers swaying in the breeze to the quiet tracks of critters hidden in the undergrowth. The walks are 1.5 to 2 miles long over easy terrain and suitable for most adults and children.

The San Pedro House is located 7 miles east of Sierra Vista on Highway 90, on the south side of the highway. It is searchable
on Google Maps.
