Flagstaff Festival of Science: United States Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station Site Tour

Join the staff of the Naval Observatory for a 2 hour guided tour of the Flagstaff Station. Learn the mission of the observatory, our history, our current research, and visit several of our telescopes. Our staff will be there to answer your questions, so come prepared. All visitors must be U. S. citizens, and all adults must have a valid ID. Each person must have their own free ticket. Expect some walking, but assistance will be offered if you need a little help getting around.

Cars and bags are subject to search. Photographs are allowed. This is a family friendly event. Early registration through September 9th is highly recommended due to security screening requirements.

Registrations between September 10th – 21st will be added to a stand-by list, and will be notified of confirmation on their tour slot selection in the order they are received.
