Join cultural astronomer and Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition executive director Dr. Danielle Adams to learn why it’s so important to protect our view of the Milky Way. Connecting rich astronomical traditions of the past with Flagstaff’s 25-year legacy as the world’s first International Dark Sky City, Danielle will explore the cultural import of the Milky Way, which Arabs long ago called “the Mother Road”.
