Get up close and personal with farm animals–and a few unexpected guests!

At Meet the Herd and the Hump, families are invited to a hands-on experience where 4-H youth will introduce their animals, share what it’s like to care for them, and explain how they’re raised. Kids will love asking questions, petting the animals, and discovering what it means to be a young animal caretaker in 4-H.

Part of Flagstaff Festival of Science, a free annual 10-day event wholly designed to promote awareness and enthusiasm for science in and about northern Arizona and beyond, aand is fondly known as the Best 10 Days of the Year. Established in 1990, it is the longest, continuously running, entirely free science festival in the world.
