Thursday night features engaging presentations about the sky at 6pm and 6:45. Then enjoy stargazing through powerful telescopes for up-close views of Saturn, star clusters, and distant galaxies. Perfect for curious minds of all ages! Food trucks offered. Oct 1, Oct 2, Oct 3
Starting at 6:00 PM on October 1st – Little Astronomers: Big Discovery
Join Tynkertopia for an evening of hands-on, curiosity-focused activities designed especially for young explorers during the Dark Skies Coalition Star Party as part of the Flagstaff Festival of Science. Children will engage in interactive experiences that introduce the wonders of the night sky, from constellations and moon phases to light and how it affects what we see above us.
Through simple, engaging activities, young participants will tynker, create, and discover while building a deeper appreciation for dark skies and space. It’s a fun and meaningful way for children and families to connect science, creativity, and the beauty of the universe, all under the stars.

The Flagstaff Star Party is free to attend, but please grab a ticket so FDSC can plan for each night. (It is not necessary to show your ticket at Buffalo Park.)
