Flagstaff has its faults; geologic faults, that is!
On this guided geology tour, we will visit several faults exposed around town to observe the rock formations involved, the amount of offset along fault strands, and interpret the age of activity. We will consider how these faults fit into the regional tectonic setting and discuss a few significant historical earthquakes in northern Arizona.
