Embry – Riddle Aeronautical University: Superpower Dogs

July 11 @ 2:00 pm - 4:50 pm

$8

For this program’s opening weekend this summer, the Prescott and Prescott Valley Police Department K-9 units will be joining us to show off their incredible dogs and to perform live demonstrations for the show’s attendees!

Discover the life-saving superpowers and extraordinary bravery of some of the world’s most remarkable dogs. Narrated by Chris Evans, this program showcases dogs trained in dangerous jobs including water and avalanche rescue.

Follow Halo, a rookie puppy, training to join one of the most elite disaster response teams in America. Meet Henry, an avalanche rescue expert in the mountains of British Columbia, Reef, a Newfoundland lifeguard with the Italian coastguard, Ricochet, a Californian surf legend helping people with special needs, and the Bloodhound brothers, Tipper & Tony, who are leading the fight to save endangered species in Africa. As we discover the incredible abilities of dogs and the astonishing science behind their superpowers, we’ll never look at our best friends the same way again!

For the comfort and safety of all guests, only trained service animals are permitted at the planetarium. Thank you for your understanding.

This program will last for approximately 50 minutes. Please remember to arrive at the planetarium at least 10 minutes prior to the showtime indicated on your ticket.

Saturday, July 11: 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
