Bio: Bestselling author Randi Minetor writes for the Birdfinding and Best Easy Bird Guides series for Falcon Guides and is the author of Backyard Birding and Butterfly Gardening. Her newest book, The Complete Language of Birds, explores the science, folklore, and mythology of more than 400 bird species worldwide. She also writes for Birding Magazine, serves as a regional editor for North American Birds, and is a past president of the Rochester Birding Association in New York.
