Desert Foothills Land Trust and the Holland Community Center present the Foothills Speaker Series: Saguaro Facts and Fiction. Do saguaros really live for 500 years? Can you determine a saguaro’s age by counting its arms? Why are so many of these desert giants toppling over? Join us as we separate fact from fiction and uncover the truth about these majestic sentinels of the Sonoran Desert with Ali Schuessler, Lab Manager at the Desert Botanical Garden.
