Desert Botanical Garden: Desert Landscaping Classes – Desert Plant Palette

Discover the best selection of trees, shrubs, succulents and other plants used for desert landscapes. In this onsite program,  you’ll experience various interactive learning techniques featuring the fundamentals to properly identify desert plants and how to place in the landscape.By gaining this foundational knowledge and best practices, you will be able to use these strategies in your workplace or home garden. Desert Plant Palette is developed for learners new to the landscape profession, homeowners or for those who want to gain a comprehensive skill set for desert plants and how to use them in the landscape.

In this 20-hour program, students will learn critical concepts of desert plants.This program provides the student with in-depth coverage of:

• Trees
• Shrubs
• Cactus and succulents
• Agaves and Yuccas
• Other perennials
