City of Sierra Vista: Brown Bag Lecture Series Fall 2023 – Backyard Astronomy

Backyard astronomy is an excellent way for people of all ages to learn about the night sky and explore the universe. With some planning and preparation, you can enjoy stargazing in your backyard, a nearby park, or a designated dark sky location. Today’s lecture will discuss constellations, stargazing tools and equipment, location selection, and a brief overview of astrophotography.
