Join skilled storytellers for a cup of coffee and candid conversation that entertains, educates, and encourages a sense of wonder about science and the natural world around us. The monthly speaker series hosts guest lecturers with coffee and refreshments provided.
Arizona has been a testing ground for new innovations in transportation, combining artificial intelligence, ride-sharing applications, and electric vehicles. With this new technology comes challenges. Dr. Jennifer Richter of Arizona State University will discuss emerging environmental issues that have developed with “green” technology, from the environmental hazards of production and disposal, to global impacts. Dr. Richter will open a conversation about the benefits and drawbacks of this transportation revolution.
