City of Chandler: Nature of Things Speaker Series – Borderland Restorations [#1NC624]

FreeJoin skilled storytellers for a cup of coffee and candid conversation that entertains, educates, and encourages a sense of wonder about science and the natural world around us. The speaker series hosts guest lecturers and light refreshments.
Francesca Claverie, Native Plant Program Director for Borderlands Restoration Network, will introduce the recent native plant restoration projects in Arizona and Sonora. She will highlight the importance of regionally sourced native plants and share some basics of native plant propagation. This series is also part of Borderlands Restorations plant sale delivery program. Order plants online from the Borderland Nursery and note “Chandler 10/26” when you order. *Plants are only available for purchase online and can be picked up at the Chandler Nature Center after the presentation at 11:30 p.m.
