September 23, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Live with more resiliency and gain a better understanding of the environment around you, by learning how to save seeds from the healthy plants in your garden.

Save seeds for a continuous supply of seeds adapted to your area at little or no cost. This class will cover: seed terminology, techniques for wet & dry seeds, as well as proper methods to store seeds for the longest life.

This program will be presented by local Master Gardener and author, Angela Judd.

Space is limited. Registration is appreciated but drop-ins are welcome.

This program is a part of The Nature of Things, a series of free programs featuring guest speakers and conversations that foster a sense of wonder about science, cultural resources and the natural world. Presentations will encourage participants to consider the importance of conservation in connection with natural ecosystems and cultural heritage, locally and around the world. The Nature of Things is a collaboration between the Chandler Nature Center and the Chandler Public Library.
