Chandler Public Library: STEAM Club – Tin Foil Boats

Test your engineering skills as we design and build tin foil boats to see how much weight they can hold before they sink. Experiment with shapes, balance, and buoyancy to discover what makes the best floating design!
Each month, kids ages 6-12 explore a new STEAM theme. Our hands-on projects provide a fun way to practice following directions, explore basic science, and learn concepts in technology, engineering, art, and math. Children build confidence while problem solving, collaborating, and expressing their creativity.
