Chandler Public Library: STEAM Club (ages 6-12) – Green Lab Arizona – Climate Detectives

THIS PROGRAM REQUIRES REGISTRATION. Please reserve a space for each child that will be participating in the program.

Green Lab Arizona: Climate Detectives is a free, hands-on climate science workshop for children ages 6–12, presented by Acumen Haven. Kids will explore why some surfaces get hotter than others, investigate a neighborhood heat map, plant their own microgreens, and become Climate Detectives through fun, interactive activities. Each child will take home a microgreen growing kit, a personalized neighborhood heat map, a detective wristband, and a collectible Sonoran Desert animal card.

This session is limited to 25 children.

Each month, kids ages 6-12 explore a new STEAM theme. Our hands-on projects provide a fun way to practice following directions, explore basic science, and learn concepts in technology, engineering, art, and math. Children build confidence while problem solving, collaborating, and expressing their creativity.

STEAM Club meets every second Wednesday of the month.
