Who, or what, gets to create knowledge? Can AI systems create knowledge? When Chat GPT writes a student’s paper, is that original research? What are the different systems and standards for creating knowledge? As consumers of knowledge, how can we know what is real and what is manipulated? What is original and what is derivative?
