Boyce Thompson Arboretum: Desert Plants and Vistas – A Watercolor Course

We warmly invite you to tap into your creative potential amidst the Arboretum’s soothing eucalyptus and resilient succulents. In this enriching watercolor course, guided by the accomplished Christin Quissell, you’ll discover the artful design elements that the desert itself offers—from lines and shapes to contrasting patterns. Master watercolor techniques like wet-in-wet and glazing, all skill levels are warmly welcomed.
This inspiring journey unfolds November 4th and 11th from 9 am to 12 noon. Join us and awaken your artistic spirit in concert with nature’s beauty.

Registration for the course does not include admission to the Arboretum, which must be paid separately.
Registrants are responsible for bringing supplies, except watercolor paper, which will be provided.
A suggested supplies list will be emailed to registrants before the course starts.
