Arizona State University: MicroMaker Camp

Get ready to dive into the exciting world of semiconductors and assistive technology!

In this hands-on day camp, high school students will unleash their creativity by building innovative projects with microcontrollers. Along the way, they’ll discover key concepts like voltage, resistance, analog vs. digital signals, and circuit design—all while learning how to use tools like multimeters and soldering irons. With guidance and teamwork, students will design and build real working prototypes using Arduino microcontroller boards, sensors, and actuators to see firsthand how technology can change lives. No experience necessary! Just bring your curiosity and get ready to spark your passion for semiconductor careers!

Week 2: June 23rd-June 27th, 2025 from 8:30am-5pm
Location: ASU West Valley Campus (Herberger Young Scholars Academy)
Grades: 9 – 12
Cost: $125.00

*If students are interested in applying for a scholarship to help cover the program fee, please contact Marilynn Aranda at marilynn.quintana@asu.edu before submitting an application for the summer camp.
