Arizona State Parks & Trails: The Waterfowl West

Join us for a guided walk from camping area E to Bullard Wash where it meets Alamo Lake. The program is designed to teach the basics of birding and help familiarize visitors to the local birds in the park and how to identify them.

We will meet at the Cholla Launch and go over the walk plan. The walk will begin with instructions on how to use and adjust binoculars. The walk will follow the burro paths towards the lake and burro wash, stopping to discuss different birding tips and identifying the birds as we go.

ATTENTION PARTICIPANTS:

We will meet at the Cholla launch ramp at 8:30 AM. Temperatures will be hot so come prepared.
