Arizona Science Center: Girls in STEM – Desert Discoveries

Did you know there’s a ton of science living (literally) right in your backyard? It’s no secret that Arizona’s desert environment is unique—and it’s no different for the plants and animals living here! At Girls in STEM’s next event, Desert Discoveries, participants will explore amazing animal adaptations that allow our desert dwellers to survive in harsh environments, the art of biomimicry and sustaining energy through food webs through hands-on activities, like-minded peer engagement and local STEM Mentors. By the end of the day, these #GirlsInSTEM will leave excited to explore State 48 even more than before!
Lunch will be provided.
