Arizona Science Center: CREATE – Creator Course: Intro to Shopbot

This 3-hour Creator Course allows Makers to learn the basics of using a 5′ by 10′ ShopBot CNC Router! This Course covers basic safety, machine terminology, approved materials, basic start-up and shut-down procedures, loading a design into VCarve Pro software, and customizing and fabricating a small sign.
Makers ages 13–17 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Safety glasses, short sleeves and closed-toe shoes are required. Hearing protection and dust mask advised.
*Must take Creator Course: Wood Shop first
