Calling all Scientists, Techies, Engineers, Artists, and Mathematicians!

Join us for Tempe’s annual STEAM Festival, Geeks Night Out. The free, family-friendly event is a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics that provides interactive, hands-on learning opportunities for the community to enjoy.

Geeks Night Out is an Arizona SciTech Festival signature event, presented by State Farm®, that allows everyone to discover the science in everyday things.

Merging fun and education, Geeks Night Out showcases everything from robotics and coding exercises to a makerspace and art displays. More than 60 organizations will deliver hands-on activities, cool science experiments, live entertainment, food trucks, and so much more.

2026 marks the 13th Anniversary of the community collaboration between Tempe Elementary School District,  Tempe Union High School District, Kyrene School District, East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) Arizona State University, Rio Salado College, University of Advancing Technology (UAT), local businesses, organizations and the City of Tempe. The free, family-friendly event is sponsored in part by the Tempe Diablos.
