Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Saguaros in Sunset

Ranger Olivia leads this picturesque hike to watch the sunset while also learning about saguaros along the way. We will see the sunset, saguaros, and maybe some evening critters as well. You may bring your blacklight and regular flashlight to look for evening critters(optional). This hike will be 2.9 miles along the North trail loop, where the terrain is mostly flat and a few spots being slightly uneven/rocky or sandy from crossing washes. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. There are restrooms and water available near the trailhead but still be sure to bring plenty of water with you!
MEETING LOCATION: North Trailhead. Be aware this is an additional 5-10 additional minutes past the entry statin.

Limit 30 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 3 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 10/12/26.
