Though regularly used in elementary school, games are often overlooked and underutilized in middle school math. Not only do they promote student engagement, but they also provide opportunities for discourse, argumentation, in-context practice, and development of new ideas. And now more than ever, they are easy to implement on classroom interactive displays, Chromebooks, and tablets.
Come join us for a fun-filled session to see the power of games for both instruction and assessment in the middle grades.
* Participants have the chance to win raffle prizes, including games and resources!
* Participants are invited to come 15 minutes early and enjoy a continental breakfast.
