Mesa Public Library: Plant Exchange & Propagation Demonstrations
October 10 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Free
Bring your potted plants and cuttings to exchange with other plant lovers at Red Mountain Library. Paper cards will be provided for you to fill out the identity and care instructions for the plants you are exchanging.
For fairness, please bring plants or clippings to exchange instead of coming empty handed in search of new plants.
Maricopa County Master Gardeners will be conducting planting demonstrations and providing propagation recommendations and tips to help you select plants and cuttings from the swap table that are a good fit for your household. There’s no cost for the cuttings or plants: this is a free plant exchange with others.
Location: Staff parking lot – across from the Monarch Garden outside.
Note: Please keep cuttings to a smaller size for easy transport.
This program supports the City of Mesa’s Climate Action Plan (MCAP), a Mayor and Council priority initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build resilience in our community, and address the negative outcomes of a changing climate.
