Desert Foothills Land Trust: Foothills Speaker Series – Arizona’s Bats

Join us to learn about Arizona’s bats and the role they play in the desert ecosystem. Arizona is home to 29 different bat species, and this talk covers their biology, behavior, and habitats, along with how they help control insect populations and pollinate native plants.

Whether you’re already interested in bats or come in with some hesitation, you’ll leave with a clearer picture of these often misunderstood animals. Led by Hally Cokenias, co-founder of Arizona Bat Rescue.

The Foothills Speaker Series is a joint project of Desert Foothills Land Trust and the Holland Center. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required due to limited seating.
