Step back in time at this hands-on Girls in STEM archaeology event! Uncover ancient artifacts, study lost civilizations and piece together the stories buried beneath the surface—it’s sure to be a full day of exploration, investigation and discovery!
Girls in STEM is a series of educational programs throughout the year that encourages interest in science and engineering among students in grades 4-8.
Launched in 2013, the program offers a supportive and collaborative environment for girls to engage with each other while working on activities and projects that introduce them to STEM concepts such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Girls in STEM also partners with companies and mentors to speak with students about opportunities in STEM and as a future profession.
