The University of Arizona: Desert Landscaping for the 21st Century Guided Tour

November 1 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Free

Register for a FREE guided tour of one of seven different collections of trees and plants in the Campus Arboretum. Led by Pima County Master Gardeners, the tours provide in-depth education, information and the opportunity to get all your questions answered.

Most tours start at the Berger Memorial Fountain on the west side of the Old Main Building and last 60-90 minutes.

Landscaping in the 21st Century in the desert can be challenging, but this tour demonstrates how you can have a water-wise, low-maintenance but beautiful yard and garden. We will focus on the plantings and water harvesting practices right around the Old Main Building, UA’s oldest and most historic building.

After you register you will receive a confirmation email with detailed information on parking and where to meet.
