Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Mid-Week Meander
August 26 @ 7:30 am - 8:30 am
Free with Park Fee
Let’s see what sorts of wildlife we can spot. Birds should be active at this time and there’s not a bad chance for lizards, and small animals too. This hike will be an easy 2-mile out and back hike along the Wagner trail. This trail is mostly flat but has some uneven/sandy spots around our washes. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water! There is NOT a restroom or water at the Trailhead, but there is at the Nature Center along the main park road.
PLEASE NOTE: Outdoor summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events. The Maricopa County Parks website (www.maricopa.gov/parks) is the most accurate resource for verifying the program’s current status. Please check the program listing online before coming to the park.
MEETING LOCATION: Wagner Trailhead.
