Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Morning Meander
August 5 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am
Free with Park Fee
Let’s see what sorts of wildlife we can spot. Birds should be active at this time and there’s not a bad chance for lizards, and small animals too. This hike will be an easy slow-paced 1-1.5-mile loop along a few of our trails including Palm Lake Loop, Mesquite Meander, and River Ramble. This trail is mostly flat but has some uneven/sandy spots throughout. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water! There are restrooms and water in the parking lot of the Visitor Center.
PLEASE NOTE: Outdoor summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events. The Maricopa County Parks website (www.maricopa.gov/parks) is the most accurate resource for verifying the program’s current status. Please check the program listing online before coming to the park.
