Surprise Public Library: That’s A Wrap – Mummy Science

Courious kids are invited to step into the world of ancient Egypt as they explore the fascinating science behind mummification.

In this hands-on program, young scientists will learn how preservation works by helping to mummify a chicken using safe, age-appropriate materials. From salt mixtures to wrapping techinques, participants will discover the history, biology and little bit of eerie fun that makes mummies so legondary.
