Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine: Explore the Lava River Cave with Girl Scouts!

Join us for a guided hike of the Lava River Cave with experienced volcanologist, Natasha Voss. A graduate of NAU with a degree in Geology and a minor in chemistry, she has studied super volcanoes in Greece, eruptions and erosions in Chile, and worked in Yellowstone National Park, another super volcano. Her passion for volcanology started in Northern Arizona, where many of our mountains are actually cinder cone volcanoes!
Girls will learn all about volcanoes in Arizona, the formation of this cave, and gain a wealth of geology knowledge.
