Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Guided Bird Walk

February 22 @ 8:15 am - 11:15 am

Free with Park Fee
Learn about the resident and migrant birds of desert riparian areas on this guided walk with Ranger Eric.

Join Ranger Eric for a guided bird walk to look and listen for resident and migrant species within the lush desert riparian habitat of the Hassayampa River Preserve. Along the way we will discuss how to identify birds by sight and sound, and about the behavioral and ecological traits that make them unique. Some binoculars are available to borrow. It is recommended to dress in layers, wear sturdy footwear and sun protection, and carry ample water for yourself.
