Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Snake Feeding and Animal Encounters

Join us for an up- close look at some of the desert’s most fascinating creatures! Watch as our animal ambassadors, including snakes, scorpions, and tarantulas, devour their juicy meals. This experience will give visitors the chance to pet our friendly gopher snake, learn about the unique characteristics of venomous critters, and explore the important roles these animals play in our ecosystem.
*Advisory* – Arachnids will be fed live crickets; snakes will be fed pre-killed mice. Only authorized handlers may hold snakes.
