Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Night Hike

We’ll be on the lookout for all kinds of evening-active critters, from skunks to spiders, snakes, fox, coyote, deer, owls and, of course scorpions! Bring flashlights; black UV lights are optional. This will be about a 2-mile hike along Shallmo Wash trail. This trail is mostly flat with portions of uneven, rocky and sandy terrain, so please wear closed-toe shoes. There will be restrooms and water at the trailhead. No pets, please.

MEETING LOCATION: Four Peaks Staging area, Shallmo Wash trailhead
