Join Ranger Nikki on a slow-paced walk to observe scorpions and other nocturnal animals.

The route follows Pemberton Trail toward Tonto Tank Trail for an out-and-back walk totaling 2-2.5 miles. The terrain is mostly level and smooth with a few areas with small rocks underfoot. Bring your blacklight and a regular flashlight. No pets, please. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Trailhead. Please bring $7 cash for the self-pay station or your annual pass to display on your vehicle.
