Celebrate this Latino Conservation Week with two bilingual programs at Lake Pleasant Regional Park- one indoors at the Discovery Center, and a nighttime hike meeting at Cottonwood Day Use (north entry).

Stranger Things: Sonoran Edition Nature is full of surprises. Like a TV drama, if you pay attention, nature reveals odd characters and strange relationships. Love, betrayal, beneficial partnerships, cheats- the desert creatures exemplify them all. The desert even has its own David & Goliath stories- can a bird really eat a snake? Come to the park and discover the stranger side of the desert and its inhabitants! Meet at the Discovery Center, where there are bathrooms available and AC.

MEETING LOCATION: Discovery Center

No registration required.

Please note: Summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events. The MC Parks website is the best resource for verifying the program’s current status, so please check the program listing prior to departing for your scheduled program.
