Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Bug Theater

We’re setting up the white sheet in the amphitheater tonight. Once it’s dark, we’ll turn on the spotlight and enjoy the show that unfolds, as all manner of arthropods are drawn to the light. This is a great opportunity to ask your bug-related questions, learn about unique and interesting animals like palo verde beetles, whipscorpions, tarantulas and giant desert centipedes, and get a good, close-up look at the local celebrities that appear on our “silver screen.” Family friendly program. Restrooms are available nearby, but please bring plenty of water. NO pets, please.
