Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love…Tarantulas!

Are you scared silly of spiders? Deathly afraid of arachnids? Well, perhaps a little knowledge about these incredible animals can help you fight your fears. We’ll give you five good reasons (or more) why tarantulas deserve to be admired and respected, and not reviled and avoided. Reason number one: tarantulas are venomous, but there’s not one documented case of a human being dying from a tarantula bite. In the world. Ever.
