This is a classroom-based course that covers a variety of topics including boating terminology, things to know before getting on the water, how to operate your boat safely, legal requirements, and what to do in emergencies.

This course is approved by the United States Coast Guard and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators. We will be working out of a booklet so bring reading glasses if needed.  On-the-water skills are not included in this course. You may bring a lunch or snack to eat. There is a restroom on site.
