Watershed Management Group: Rainwater on Tap Happy Hour

November 28, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

$25

Join the one and only happy hour where the featured drinks are made with Tucson rainwater, locally captured and filtered. Sip on rainwater cocktails, rainwater mocktails, and rainwater teas and experience what hydro-local living tastes like at WMG’s Living Lab. Enjoy Sri Lanken fusion food with The Curry Pot food truck, serving up fast and incredibly delicious food for all, from meat eaters to vegans. This happy hour is on Giving Tuesday, a day of global giving following Thanksgiving. All ticket sales and donations benefit Watershed Management Group’s community conservation programs.

Come with a thirsty curiosity and go home feeling refreshed with a few easy ways you can go hydro-local at home. There will be something for everyone, whether you live in an apartment building, are new to the desert, or have a raintank but have never considered drinking rainwater – take the next step with WMG. Perhaps you could have rainwater on tap at home!

WMG band favorite, Santa Pachita, will be heating up the night playing Latin-fusion music inspired by salsa, cumbia, ska and reggae.

Event tickets are $25 and include 2 drink tickets for rainwater cocktails or mocktails, Dragoon Beer, and hot rainwater teas.

Make a $50 donation in addition to your ticket and take home some WMG swag – WMG t-shirt or glass growler.

Special thanks to our mixologists: Mike Klass, longtime mixologist for WMG’s Rainwater on Tap and head chef at The Jackrabbit Lounge, and Max Wingert, Tucson Foodie writer and bartender at Juniper. Thank you for donating your time and talent!

This event is outdoors, at WMG’s Living Lab; carpooling, busing, biking, and walking to our midtown venue are encouraged!
