Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Night Owl Morning Hike

Come join Ranger Shaun, a notorious Night Owl, for a morning hike at a reasonable hour. Outside of the Summer’s oppressive heat, we can hike when we like! Night Owls, 2nd Shifters, and Later Risers of all types, come on out, walk the beautiful moderate difficultly Vista trail and return along the barrier free Merkle loop. The whole hike comes out to roughly a mile. Expect to see plants, birds, bugs, and other wildlife, ask questions, and generally connect with the nature, without getting up before the sun. Sunscreen, water, closed toed shoes, and layers strongly encouraged.

Limit 10 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 11/14/23.
