Flagstaff Festival of Science: A Trip Through Time Around the San Francisco Peaks (LIVE STREAM ONLY)

September 27, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free
Rephotography, or the science and art of matching historical photographs to their modern-day counterparts, can tell us a great deal about our forest home. Ecologist, author, and photographer John L. Vankat has just completed rephotographing more than 100 locations around the San Francisco Peaks, published in his book, “The San Francisco Peaks and Flagstaff Through the Lens of Time.” He will share images from his book and talk about what they tell us about ecological changes taking place around us over time.
