Learn about ways to identify birds that you see in your backyard and along hiking trails with a drop-in information table hosted by Ranger Nikki.
Ranger Nikki will be on hand to show images of and discuss common birds seen at Usery and in local suburban backyards. See sample field guides and learn about birding apps that use visual and even sound cues to suggest identifications. This program will take place inside the Nature Center and venture onto the back patio for firsthand observations. Bring your water to this indoor learning session. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.
