Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Estrella – 911 Day of Service

Estrella Mountain Regional Park is often left with trash and litter from our guests.  We ask everyone to pack out what they bring in, but not everyone is willing to do their part to keep the park clean.  This is why volunteers like you are needed!  Trash bags and other materials will be provided.  Please bring your own gloves; we have a limited supply on hand.  If you have a few extra trash pickers, please bring them with you.

We are seeking willing and able volunteers to provide the manpower to rake and bag litter. Due to the heat, we will start early.  You must be in good physical condition with the ability to work outdoors, standing, walking, and bending over in the desert heat the entire time.  All volunteers should bring water, a hat, and wear hiking shoes.  We will meet at the park’s Nature Center at 8:00 am and hold a safety briefing.

All volunteers will receive free admission to the park for the entire day!!
