Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Homeschool Happenings – Creatures of the Night!

Join Ranger Kevin for a fun look at many summertime animals that wake up at night and go to bed in the morning.
This Homeschool Happenings event will focus on many kinds of animals like snakes, tarantulas, bats and Kangaroo rats that live in the Sonoran Desert. Come along on this learning adventure as we explore the reasons they spend their summer days sleeping, and their summer nights working (or is it lurking?).
MEETING LOCATION: Classroom inside the Nature Center
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 6 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 8/10/23.
