Surprise Public Library: West Valley Amateur Radio Club presents Winter Field Day

The West Valley Amateur Radio Club is proud to announce our upcoming Winter Field Day Event! We will be available to show what Ham Radio is all about! Please plan to visit, bring the kids, have a snack, talk on a real ham radio (maybe even to someone in another state.), learn a little bit about Morse Code (like tapping out S.O.S.) and more!
Please pencil us in! This is a great learning opportunity for all ages! Our radio operators will be available for 24 hours to simulate an Emergency Situation, but this is a great time to get a sneak peak at what we do for Communication Continuity.
