Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Desert Ecosystem Hike Winter Edition

Join Ranger Shaun for a morning walk in the desert and discuss some of the unique plants and animals of the region and how they’ve adapted to live here.
This 1.5-mile loop will lead us along a moderate rated trail with some mild elevation change and a few somewhat rough areas, but nothing extremely strenuous. Hiking poles or walking stick encouraged but not required. Water bottle, closed toed shoes required. Dressing in layers recommended as the temperature can change somewhat quickly on the trail this time of year.
