McDowell Sonoran Conservancy: Desert Connections – Educational Walk

Welcome! Join us for a guided adventure in the beautiful McDowell Sonoran Preserve. We have something for everyone. The Conservancy relies on the generosity of donors to support our conservation efforts in the Preserve. Your contributions help us mitigate invasive species, restore burned areas, and monitor wildlife to identify current and future threats. Description

Everything in the desert is connected and always changing. We’ll explore how the environment–the mountains, the rocks, the climate, the washes, and more–affects the plants and animals that live here, how living things in turn change the environment, and how climate change and increasing development may impact what we see here.
